Chinese New Year is the most widely celebrated holiday in China. Gulfstream Aerospace, The World Standard® in business jet aircraft, creates a custom Chinese New Year greeting card annually that is sent to owners and potential clients in the Asian market. 

During the Chinese New Year, it is traditional to give gifts and cards in red envelopes or packaging. I chose a red Reich Shine paper for this project to allude to that tradtion. The card also features gold foil stamped accents, including two intricate laser cut handles that can be used to open the gate fold card. 

When open, the card reveals the gold foil stamped silhouette of a Gulfstream jet. A red foil stamped pattern created from silhouettes of both jets and jet engines lines the inner panels of the card, creating a subtle shine effect when opened.
